Access Paratransit is a public transportation service for people with disabilities. For eligible people, the service provides transportation from the pick-up location of the rider’s choice (usually his/her home) to the desired destination within the service area. Since Access is a public shared ride service, meaning that often times a few riders will share a vehicle, it can be treated like a bus in terms of how long it will take for riders to get to their destinations. Reservations a day in advance are recommended, as same-day trips depend on availability, so riders should plan ahead of time.
